Hockeystick and the CVCA have teamed up to bring better data to Canada’s private equity and venture capital community.
Today, I'm proud to announce that Hockeystick is now the official data platform of the Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (CVCA). You can read the official announcement here.
Hockeystick will replace the CVCA’s current platform, InfoBase. Venture capital and private equity funds with current InfoBase subscriptions will automatically benefit from better security, improved analytics, and will be able to connect to Hockeystick’s industry-leading portfolio management solutions.
This is a milestone achievement for Hockeystick and a strong endorsement of our technology platform. For the first time, accelerators, angel groups, venture capital funds, and government programs will be using the same data platform as thousands of Canadian startups.
Our vision is to provide the most complete, accurate and up-to-date view of the entire private market. A common data platform allows us to produce unique insights into the market and to reduce the friction inherent in how private markets currently function.
The CVCA joins a broad network of industry partners and clients who rely on Hockeystick’s software to manage dealflow, gather portfolio data, and generate comprehensive reports.
Stay tuned for more announcements to come!
